    Rifle Range

Where's a good rifle range around the Milwaukee area? I don't mind taking a drive but nothing 2 hours away or anything like that. Is there anything left around here that isn't strictly trap?

yeah they are still open. i was just there last week trying out the 300 yard range. they have a new owner which seems to be a good thing. i have noticed some upgrades from them. you no longer have to walk through the tunnel to get to the targets, you can just walk straight to them. they have also been doing some painting.

ahh sweet. I thought they closed down for some reason after the old owners. Well that kind of sucks though since they close in 2 hours haha.

a guy i work with is a member of that racine range. i thought about joining because it is much closer than mcmiller. but now after reading how much membership dues are i am reconsidering that one a bit. i would have to go shooting quite a bit to make it worth while.
