    Cobra

I'm interested in purchasing a new(er) Cobra Mustang within the next year. Either an 01, or an 03-04. If any of you see one for sale for a good price, please make a post. Thank you

A friend of mine may be selling his 03 vert. If he does it will probably be within the next few months.

Buy an 03, more bang for the buck. Look in mustang trader, there are tons of them.

Well, if I get a smoking deal on an 01, I'll score it. Otherwise I'll most likely be looking into a 03-04. I just like the look of the 01 better, but the 03-04 has the better lower end, and 6 speed, so w/e.

I hope you're not forgetting the obvious addition of the factory supercharger for 03?

There's no way I'd ever buy an 01 with the used 03's starting to come down. No contest imho.

Yes, I am aware of the blower, but my plan will be to turbocharge, so either car will work.

Aww fuck it, I think I gotta put the man pants on and just go for the 03-04. It's really not worth the price diff of the 01 to that because the newer one is just so mutch better.

You bet it is, but why bother with the headache of the turbo setup on that? Go get the kenne belle for 3 grand, a good tune, and start working on things like a solid rear axle, suspension, etc to get your times down there. Those things make gobs of power easy without the big price tag and hassle of the turbo.

^Well its that and if I choose to go turbo in the future, the car has the lower end I want. Plus the 6 speed. I know people are getting like 500whp out of the factory SC alone, it'd love to see what some people were getting out of that 2.2 or 2.4 Kenne Bell unit on pump gas.

Also, what is a good tech site to find good info about the Modular motors? I need imput about this sh!t.

there's a ton of them, but the corral and places like svtperformance good places to start. i'm sure they'd be able to point you in a better direction.
