    1998 S10 for sale

This is a great work truck. It has lots of dents and scratches. Very little rust though. Interior could use a cleaning. 182k miles. It has the 2.2l 4cyl. Runs great with no problems, except the transmission is slipping a little. AWESOME gas mileage. This is a great truck and I've been driving it everyday since I bought it and it has never needed anything. Has gold, trans am, honeycomb rims with yokohama tires with a lot of tread.. $1800 OBO Located in Janesville, WI 53545

What kind of gas milage do you consider AWESOME? Out of all the s10's I've had, none of them did better then 25 mpg. The 2.2's rarely got that good of mileage, and that is far from awesome. Just saying...

I used to get 30+ on the highway with my 99 2.2l 5sp Sonoma. Not sure where that ranks, but I was pretty happy with it.

I get around 23-25. It's good for me because I do a lot of traveling. I don't think 23-25 mpg, in a truck is bad at all. Get's better gas mileage than any of my other car's so it's awesome to me. Thanks for your concern....

These trucks will take an ass whipping. I use to use these back in the day when I would go to different fields getting sweet corn and pea samples for the company I work for. Think of a bunch of high school kids going down field roads all day and taking them through mud when it rains. They are still using them yet as well. I put one on it's side and got out flipped it back up right and kept on doing my work for the day and that trucks still is being used LOL.
