Pretty sure vote of confidence = kiss of death .

I can see Attanasio as a meddling owner, not wanting to cut Suppan. Maybe I'm wrong though. Melvin has done a very nice job as GM in his tenure, not perfect but no GM is. The Brewers operate on a fine line and always will have to take more risks than big market teams.

Glad some young guys are getting a chance. Estrada, Axford, now Lucroy. Some fresh blood and youth, lord knows the team needed something.

After he just let that assbag umpire lay into Bush and didn't go out there and rip his head off, how can any of the players have any respect for him?!?!? That was the breaking point for me....

Even more so, he see's Bush's head is out of the game and he lets him get roughed up for 3 more runs before getting him out of there. Macha loves running up his pitcher's ERA's when they are struggling.

What are the chances everyone will be annoyed by the next manager?

On a positive note, Zaun might be done for the year with a torn labrum in his shoulder.

So we'll be forced to play young guys at catcher.

holy shit Zaun is hurt? I'm shocked such a young guy like him could get hurt playing such a lackluster position such as catcher. Amazing!

say what you will, that guy sucked early in the year but he really started becoming a pretty solid person.

I think the Brewers should make a move for Oswalt. Nows the time. The guy can't wait to get out of there and he'd be the best pitcher we have on the roster.

I doubt he'd waive his no trade clause to come here. He wants to go to a contender.

His bat was coming around, but he can't throw worth a shit. And maybe that's shoulder related, but I've never seen him throw anybody out. Seems like I see him miss 2nd base more then make it.

At this point, there is ZERO point to sticking with these old guys. Go young and see what the kids can do.

Can we just whipe out the entire team before the trade deadline? Well, keep Brauny and McGehee perhaps. Maybe Yo also. But everyone else can go. Well, OK. Keep Counsel too but only cuz he is the only player ever to play here with a permanent residence Prolly cuts his own grass and shops at WalMart too!

This is the truth. Some of the young guys are showing some signs too, Axford anyway hopefully Lucroy. Ain't winning anything this year, start getting ready for 2011 and beyond.
