    1985 Monte SS for sale

    Its time to start financing my next project, so the Monte has to be sold. Heres what its got.:
    Built 305...10:1 compression, .030 bored, flat top hyperutechnic pistons, cast rings, fresh heads (heavy duty push rods, 590 valve springs, valve job, etc.) .480 lift .274 duration Engle cam, dual chain, high volume pump, etc., new 650 Holley, moroso HEI coil, m/t valve covers.
    Built 700 R4 trans...corvette servos, heavy clutches, 2100 stall hipster lockup converter
    fresh 3:73 auburn posi 7.5 rear end
    full true 3" dual exhaust with flowmasters and headers..tailpipes exit behind rear wheels
    Painted last year..perfect doors with new pins and bushings, steel cowl hood, 2000 Monte SS emblems
    American Racing Outlaw II wheels with BFG radial T/As (245/60R15 front, 255/60R15 rear)
    Interior: new headliner, white face gauges, 87 dash trim with 115 MPH speedometer, carpet and seats are fair (faded) no rips, door panels, console, etc. excellent
    All new weatherstripping, new idler arm and center link, new rear brakes (backing plates, cylinders, shoes, etc.), new water pump, belt, battery, etc.
    Power windows and locks, tilt, factory gauges, was a/c car (all removed), kenwood detach face C/D player, etc.
    Car was appraised last year at $7500 before the exhaust, wheels, and rear end was done. It runs and drives great. Was driven on the Hot Rod Power Tour with NO problems this year. I am open to reasonable offers or possible trades. Email me with serious inquiries. Car can be seen out and about this summer or can make arangements to be shown.

    Finally got to see the SS today at Borchardts. Looks real sharp, always hard to tell in pics how good of shape a black car is but its very nice...paint reminds me of mine .

    I gotta tell my cars to stop talking to strangers .

    I saw a 442 that asked me if I could put in a good word for it to you, it seemed pretty desperate for some company. It also asked me if I knew of any good SBC's to put in it. :-P

    If another 442 came to my house to live it would be taking my place. Since my wife would be kicking me out.LOL
