Last friday, on my way to the shop, a porcupine scooted accross the road. Unbelievably, I did not have a handgun with me, believe me that is not the norm. So, today we went to Mom's for mothers day and I took my revolver, and on the way home there he was, bustin' a move accross the road.
I pulled off the road, got the gun and took off in the woods. There it was crouched down on a log, like I wouldn't see him... as I moved for a clear shot he took off, and up a tree he went....POW 1 .22 HP between the shoulders, a couple seconds later he dropped, one more to the head to end it all.
And no fires either......

Knew I should have taken a picture today!!!
My oldest girl nailed a HUGE gray squirrel 30yrds out with the pellet rifle, took two close up follow up shots to keep him from jumping up my leg! To ad insult he landed 10' off the ground in a tree as i evicted him to the woods, i have a decorate tree rat beyond my fence the crows love to poke at....pics monday!http://sites.google.com/site/russjerome/
