This isn't turning into another Chevy vs Ford thread. So - back on topic.

I like the front end a lot - very aggresive now and a bit more "sporty" looking.

The back end is a bit odd to me yet. I've seen a few of the kits that change it up - and it does look a little better. It just seems unfinished.

I saw the new commercial for the 2011 Mustang and it's pretty much the most badass Mustang GT ever made, period.
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

After reading the MotorTrend article about the new Mustang, I was thinking hard about buying a V6 one for a daily. If I didn't have my Capri I'd put off house buying and get one. I'm still gonna go take one for a test drive though.

I agree 100% !! The front end looks great, but the back......... If you could take the new front end and last years rear it would be great.

What's been done to the Camaro? I've been saying it this whole time. I don't care what "shops" are doing or have done. Or what magazine said this or that. It's what we see on the street.

we all know he couldn't drive that good!! But seriously if all this adds up then once again the 5.0 was 100% typical ford speculation bull shit. Reading thru some of the posts about let the driver get some seat time and the car break in etc.. Yes I understand, but ford/ford enthusiasts have their heads so pumped up that the 5.0 was going to rape anything on the road. Even taking those two factors into account the 5.0 should have "raped" the basically stock LS1. Shit I was waiting for the first "bolt on 2011 5.0 rapes a cam'd ZR1 Vette."

Poor stew, his heart is broken.

Well it did involve the car in the topic, same color too! It was more of a real world comparison for once vs magazine numbers.

Notice how they do not show under the hood to the Camaro, or mention anything about it. Doesn't take a genius to realize its decently modified.

What, pray tell, qualifies as "decently modified"?

I mean, it'd likely have nothing more than the mustang, IE, headers (visible), cold air intake (visible) and what else??? clear windows showing an obviously bigger cam?!?

Maybe an ultra stealth 8-71 blower?

Yeah I understand this, and stock for stock, you and I have both said that it should be a close matchup in the real world. I was mostly referring to the posts that state "Ford got bitchslapped" or "fore ford bullshit hype" (these are not direct quotes). To me it is awesome to see that Ford has something that can finally match what GM has been doing all along with the Camaro, instead of being 4-5 years behind (like has been the case with the 4.6)
