Mail in rebates bring these down cheap, for the 15M (1/2 acre yard ) the kit is 135 after rebate, and the 5 M is 65 I think. Found this deal at Minors on the norfsiiiiide

Were the bags you bought white? And did you have to buy 3 small bags of winterizer because they didn't have a big bag? If not, what did you buy? Is it phosphorous free?

You should not have been able to buy that product. It is illegal in Wisconsin to sell lawn fertilizer containing phosphorous.
