    Anyone know what the name of this is...

    I need to replace this sensor (the orange one in the middle of the pic). I litterally broke it apart. Its near the intake on a ford 4.0L pushrod V6 (1997). Looks like one on each side. If you could let me know what its called, so I can order one, that would be GREAT!

    considering where it is, I would say that is the coolant temp sensor

    It has only one wire so it's the coolant temp sensor for the gauge. If it had to two wires it would be the one for the ECM which can be seen on the right side of the lower picture in black.
