its hard to watch this scrub pitch!! i mean we shelled him when he was a diamondback! and this catcher kottaras is pretty brutal! why the hech did we get rid of rivera??

Cant' answer either of them.
I liked Rivera and think he got screwed. The guy did nothing but perform whenever he got the chance. He was as good behind the plate as Kendall, and 3 times the hitter. Kendall got all this credit for handling pitchers, yet got no blame for the worst ERA in the national league. And Parra was a completely different pitcher when Riv caught him.Ex-Trans Am owner.

Kottaras tore it up during spring training... I'll take him at the plate over Zaun/Kendall any day.

Rivera had a couple nice years with limited action, I was on his side for more playing time too...but last year he didn't really do anything with his opportunities and he was cut by the Yankees in spring training, no one else picked him up either. Apparently other teams feel the same way as the Brewers.
