VA loans for Military members

Here is some info on VA home loans and military extension for the 1st time credit.

Here is a link to the 1st time Home Buyer Tax Credit website. If you click on the link "Special Rules for Members of the Military" you'll see that if you where on a deployment for any period of extended duty outside of the United States for at least 90 days during the period beginning after December 31, 2008 and ending before May 1, 2010 you'll have a year extension for the credit to April 30th, 2011.

as a little update, the state va ran out of money for a while, federal va loans are still available, and last i checked the rate is right about 5-5.18
