what is your defense load of choice?

So ive been trying different defense loads over the month. I really noticed that my xd really shoots well with federal 180gr jacketed hollow points. Nice tight groups and from what ive watched online they seem to expand very well.

    whats your round of choice?

I haven't really shot any defensive loads myself. I mostly use cheap ammo for practice. However when I was at Gander Mountain a couple of weeks they had 4 boxes of Hornady Critical Defense for 9mm. Which I never seen there before. I wanted to buy all four boxes but only had enough on me for two boxes. Eventaully I will get more just to try out a few rounds but seeing I have a small supply it might be a while before I can try it out.

I'm going to take full advantage of you admitting that you've taken multiple loads overs the past month.

Nice tight groups, and they expand well? That's what I go for. Perhaps an eye shot, nothin like gluing them closed with some DudeGlue!

On topic addition - Home defense is a 12 gauge, same as Anakonda.

I have Magtech and Federal .40SW rounds I use. I like the Magtech better.

My solution to personal defense was to have 5 clips scattered throughout the house and one clip in the gun. As long as you've got a round that disintegrates well so you don't accidentally kill your neighbor in this world of farkin' shitty construction houses (hey, we ain't need no stinkin' OSB under this vinyl siding) and it cycles well it doesn't really matter.
Buy made in the United States. Otherwise your job might be next. Unless you already wear black shoes and a visor with golden arches on it to work in which case your fellow american has already failed you.

I'm sorry. If someone on this board didn't take advantage of someone else saying they experimented with different loads over the weekend, I would be very disapointed.

Coop, .410 shotgun caliber is NOT a good defensive load period.

    BWAHAHAHA

Supposedly, shooting someone with a judge at 10-15ft won't kill them no matter how many times you shoot
