    My First 1911 :)

    So after much research and time spent staring at 1911's I finally picked up the Kimber I always wanted Kimber Stainless Raptor ii. Didnt get to shoot it today but am itching to go. Ive shot my buddies kimber and fell in love so im sure ill be in for a treat this week Hope you all like...I really need to get a good camera one of these days!

    Yea they are pricey....hence why I window shopped for months on end saving pennies Slowly but surely my collection will be nice...if the dogs bark at 4am this is the corner I stumble to

    Retail is $1500...Midwest shooters supply had one for $1410 I believe. I got this through a buddy for $1300. Not a HUGE deal but that 100 was useful for 5 boxes of ammo I looked everywhere for a used one but the raptor models dont seem to be re-sold...which is another good/bad thing. Good knowing everyone must love them Bad cause I would have loved to find one for 1100 or something around that. I see alot of used Kimbers on gunbroker for 800-1000 but its mostly the same ones like customs and ultra carry models. All the others are new mostly that are priced the same as a shop you can drive to : /
