can you answer a question for me? is the O.D. diameter of a .223 barrel gonna be the same as the other variants like the 6.8 and the .458?

Depends on the make and manufacture, there are pencil 223 barrels under 3/4" and target 223 barrels over and inch thick.

Anybody see the 204 target AR on a vendors table? Had a huge built in muzzle break and porting, flared over 2" at the end, was $2600 and looked worth every penny all polished stainless and high end parts top to bottom.

I was putting two into my trunk and a guy asked "How much were those?" and I casualy said "Some new company is giving them out as demo's, you gotta be over 21yrs old." They looked all casual as if I was messing with them, by the time they hit the door they were in full stride. I kinda felt like being an ass after listening to the retard who visited our table, kinda mean thinking back now..

I don't know if I could ever justify spending $2600 on a .204...lol. If I were some kind of serious target sooter...maybe. The .204 is a crazy little round for varmiting.

Some well meaning but un informed escaped mental patient from a local hospital saw several of us at a table LEGALY buying/selling firearms with our FFL licenced dealer at a LEGAL gun show and felt we were jeprodizing the 2nd amendment of others by LEGALY going about our buisness....he was nutz.

Im not sure if I was so shocked by his off base coment or the fact I was surounded by a lot of gun owners I kept from my usual responce of "Shut up dumbass" or "who the F are you?"....my only comment I recal was "cant fix stupid" to wich several of us agreed to and kept our mouths shut

I know that, but he was giving Brian shit too because of the one whiner.

I wouldn't normally laugh at a guy on a cart(cause I know I'll be one in my later years)

It was simply because of the guy giving shit to us.

Thanks for the deal Brian & nice meeting you and Mike.

I'm looking at that .450 bushmaster upper also. Sounds like a beast of a cartridge. I see that Remington just added this round to their standard products.

I put my S&W 5.56 upper on it yesterday and ran it through it's paces. The lower performed flawlessly, and fit great!! I even bump fired it emptying a 30 round magazine in a couple seconds with no problems. The composite hammer and trigger group concerned me at first, but not anymore!! Brian let me know when the second purchase comes around, I may take one or two more!!

Remington owns Bushmaster and DPMS now, that is why they are doing a .450 bushmaster round. I have also turned some standard 30 rnd ar mags into 10 rnd .450 mags.
