I'd say your probably just better off letting the clutch take it on the chin a little more for the launch, you don't want to jump out of the beams.

    Boysen power shot

I installed the BOYSEN QUICK SHOT II ! This will give a huge shot a fuel to the bottom end to get rid of the stumble it used to have off idle .....

    Stock vs. Qs2 photo

Here is the QS2 accel pump cover assembly next to the stock one . You can see the difference in how much fuel the QS2 can hold compared the stock part...

I just picked up more Raptors for my collection - I have a 700, 660, and 350 now plus I still have that Warrior you sold me - not the fastest thing but its a great reliable loaner vehicle for friends when they go with me.

Our schedules never seemed to line up last year but let me know when you guys are heading somehwhere and I will do the same!

Let me know, I'm just looking for something decent that isnt bent up for now. I will probably eventually drop big cash on some nice ones for my 700 someday but I could really use something for now to replace the worn out tires and bent/wobbly rims on this 660 I just bought.

Theres a place on Ebay listing sets of 4 ITP Holeshot HDs, and ITP T9 Polished Rims for $479 plus $50 shipping... Seems like a great deal to me? Any opinions?

Yep , I bought 3 sets off that same guy and they were a decent deal.....I'm switching to beadlock rims on my 700 and Jess's 450...The beadlocks are very nice as you can change out tires very easy ( unlike non beadlocks that are a bitch to mount / dismount ) and you can air down beadlocks for extra traction in sand or mud if needed....

Yeah I would love me some Hiper or Douglas beadlocks, blue ring to match my ride.... drool. Unfortunately that would be closer to a grand and I just can't do it right now.

    Test

I took the YFZ for a little test run and I have to say Holy FAWK !

There is no off idle studder , it pulls much harder than before !

Jess will do some WOT testing tommorow on it and check the plug from from I could tell in my test it's running very good....

I'm pretty amazed at how fast this ATV is with just minimal mods on it....I want to talk some stuff over with Jess after he tests it and see if he thinks this level of power will be enough?

We were going to add a high comp piston 13.5 to 1 and stage 4 cams and stage 4 head port but, to tell you the truth I don't think it's needed as the power she has now is PLENTY !

Out of the hole this ATV is a fuggin monsta , instant power , no lag , no studder just pulls and goes !

I don't know how Jess's YFZ will do up against my 700 but, it sure feels just as fast if not faster......Keep an eye out here for a future drag race showdown between his YFZ and my 700R.....It will be interesting ....

    All Ready !

Jesse's YFZ is all ready to run ! Final test and tune turned in some very good spark plug color and she really runs PERFECT !

It has amazing power pull right off the line now, it starts up instantly , second gear 1/2 throttle shifts will pull the wheels a foot in the air....I have to say when we first bought this YFZ and it was stock and not broken in , I was not impressed with the power it had....After it was broken in it got a little faster but, the big wake up were the mods we did....Now I don't think we will mod it as much more as we thought we were going to as it's just a nice pump gas good running and fast machine.....

Now its time to focus on my Raptor....

    Doodle Bugs

I picked up a pair of Doodle Bug minibikes to mess around with.....I have to say these little things are pretty fun and would make great pit bikes....These things are cheap to buy , easy to fix with very few parts ....Northern Tool had them for $249 each....It was funny to watch guys with 1000 + HP cars ride these 3 HP minibikes and have so much fun !
