M1895 Nagant pistols are neat when supressed. The cylinder moves to form a gas seal together with the shape of the round, and people put cans on them sometimes. The round is funky though. Funny, that someone would want to spend 2x the money on the stamp as the revolver is worth...

Oh, I feel just terrible that that the gun library in my head doesn't include obsolete Russian revolvers from over a century ago. The point was that the VAST MAJORITY of revolvers don't have cylinders that move forward to create a seal against the forcing cone, nor do they use special ammunition that has a gas seal. Therefore, a supressor isn't very effective on 99.9% of the world's revolvers. But hey, thanks for the info. I'll keep it mind the next time I see a Colt Python wearing a can in some flick I'm watching. "Gee, if only that were a Nagant, then this scene wouldn't be so ridiculous..."
