What kind you get? The links say the federal value pack at walmart is perfectly fine to shoot if you clean regularly. 375rds for 11bux. Walmart usually always has them in stock too.

I might go to the gun show. There was a dealer who had an M99 last time that I intend on bringing home with me.

I bought some Remington 22 Thunderbolt. It was the cheapest they had, but keep in mind it is a gunstore. lol. I thought it was cheap enough to just get it while I was there, but I will for sure check out Walmart or Fleet for something cheaper.

    moels....

just something i've read on a couple forums about these guns being very finicky with ammo. read this link about halfway down it talks about ammo. That thunderbolt works, but just have to clean it VERY well.

Well, I guess I'll just have to see how the Thunderbolt goes. It's only 500 rds, so I can just clean it real well and move on to something they recommend.

I ran 500 rounds of the Thunderbolt through our 10/22 and yes, it was a little dirty but nothing gratuitous. I like the Federal but it has a much higher tendency to pipe on me. Going to try some CCI next.

I've never had a jam/pipe on my 10/22 with CCI Minimags. I usually use Federal lead round tips, and rarely get stovepipes with them.

I will not be shooting till later tomorrow(Sunday the 7th). I don't know if anyone had planned on following up and going shooting tomorrow, so I wanted to atleast post.

I will be going to the gun show at the Milwaukee Sport Complex on Ryan Rd. at 10am tomorrow. Walk around with the girlfriend and a couple other friends. If you want to join, feel free to call my cell 414-491-4440.

After the show I will be going shooting with the girlfriend to see if she likes shooting.
