It was there for the Jet's taking, but Rex stopped bringing the blitzes. When is somebody going to learn that the only way to effectively beat Manning is to keep hitting him. You will get burned a couple times, but that's the price you have to pay. If you give him time to throw you're not going to beat him, even if you have a whole secondary made of Deion Sanders clones.
Jet's were doing that for about 24 minutes, and then stopped.Ex-Trans Am owner.

welcome to couch jets, theres a spot next to the choking chargers! I never thought for a moment the Jets would win that one. Peyton is just as good when he is down and makes good comebacks and he takes advantage of penalties. Jets got the first game GIVEN to them, funny how laying down to the Jets gave the Colts an easier time in the championship game. I like Peyton and hope he wins but I hate the Colts!
Yes I know the Steelers didnt make it, so save those retorts.....IMO, none of it matters anyways if you dont win the SB.
