Went to Fletcher's with my oldest this morning.

Just took 3 hi-point pistols out of the cabinet to have a little fun. The boy did VERY well I thought and by the end was putting plenty of holes in the dark circle at 50+. 200 rounds through the 9mm, 100 rounds each through the .40 and .45. Had one fail to fire on the 9mm, otherwise these guns again performed very well.

Afterwards I treated him (and me, lol) to lunch at Hooter's in Brookfield.

To say he is still a bit amped up is an understatement. Should have seen him at Hooter's, was so funny to see his reaction to the ladies in their little outfits.

He's 14 and it was alot of fun for both of us. Weren't worried about sighting the guns in or anything serious, we just put bullets down range and made sure he handled the firearm safely and stuff. He did great and had a blast.

It was a great 1 on 1 thing to do with him and we will be going together many more times. Gonna go re-stock the ammo supply and clean up the guns with him tonight. He's soooo excited. lol

I remember when it used to be fun to clean guns when I was a kid. What was I thinking?!?

I was at Fletchers yesterday too. Put 200 through the .40 just to get rid of the urge. I was supposed to go to McMillers, but the day turned out to be shit so I had to go launch a few indoors.

I did the same thing recently. Took my boys to the shack in Minoqua. No water, no electricity, no toilet--they loved it! I let them shoot a .22 revolver and I shot my 12 guage, .300 Win Mag, .44, 9 MM, they are still talking about it.

And on the way home, we stopped at the Tilted Kilt (snatch) for a burger. My oldest sons eyes almost popped out of his head, I busted him totally staring at her ass and he was cracking up over the skimpy outfits!

My boys are 8 and 5.

    Good times!
