    Honda tech, need one!

    91 Accord 179k on the clock. Irratic sputtering during acceleration. Better explained over phone. 262-483-4444

    im sure its been mention befor.. distributer cap, plug wires?? i seen alot of those with distributer problems in general... i know its easier talkin over the phone but if ya spit some more details about it.....

    Yeah, the distributor on those are a common problem. cap, rotor, coil.

    Had a complete intake manifold, replaced injectors and swapped the TPS sensor.

    Pulled the cap last night and found moisture. Installing a new cap and rotor after work.

    I never had a problem with the distributor itself, my igniter was bad when i had my 92 accord. (little solid state board under the dist cap)
