Mid 80's Monte SS for sale

Just saw a mid 80's Monte SS (like the one in PB86MCSS's sig) for sale today in New Berlin. It was on National Ave maybe a half mile or so East of Beloit Rd. on the South side of the road. Didn't stop to get a price, but it looked really clean from the road. If anyone's interested, let me know and I can stop and get more info since I have to drive past it everytime I go to work on my car...

That car is really clean looking, I was gonna stop to check it out just for fun since it's close to my house.

I checked it out. Its a burgandy/burgandy interior 86'SS. Bench seat, looks to be original paint. Interior is pretty nice from what I saw. Car is solid but has some rust. Underside in rear is solid appearing but the door bottoms and along the bottom edges the car does have some rust, the passengers fender is dented on the wheelwell lip. 2 prices listed one says $4,000 the other $3,600 it looks like. Car might be worth 3k at best depending on more information, IMO.

I stopped and took a look at it too. It looks much better from the road. Like PB86MCSS said, there is some rust but is pretty solid. Could make a good project car for someone. I thought the SS's had bucket seats, or is that only certain years?

It was an option just like on the SC/LS Montes. 83' had only bench seats but 84'-88' its an option. Most have buckets though.

It is a solid car, for the right price not a bad project from what it looks like.

There's a black one for sale down here in Racine, gray interior... 46K on the clock, but the bad part is they are asking $10,500 for it.
