    1994 exporer wont shift

My friend has a 1994 ford explorer 2wd with a 5spd. He picked the car up for free because it was not shifting properly.

He replaced the transmission, master cylinder, slave cylinder, and clutch. The problem is that the clutch does not seem to entirely disengage. If you try to shift, you hear a high pitched whining. We also spent a fair amount of time bleeding the system.

    Any pointers?

    Problem solved!

For some odd reason, the clutch began to work properly after it was driven around the block a few times.
