WTT: Red 03 Cobra Seats for Black/Black or Grey

Going to be picking up a 14K mile KB Cobra this weekend but I can't stand the seats it has. They are the 10th Anniversary red seats. They are in absolutely perfect condition and I am looking to trade them for some black/black seats front and rear.

Seats won't be available till next week since I still need to pick the car up.

I'll consider Black/Grey as well but any seats I trade for have to be mint like these ones.

Is the car you're picking up a 10th anniversary car, or does it just have the seats? From the red and pseudo-carbon fiber trim, I'd say it's an original. I guess I know the feeling about the color. I never liked them when I first laid eyes on them, either. However, unless you NEVER plan on selling the car, you are going to be sorry you sold them. Look for a set of '04 Cobra (they are the black on black ones you are looking for) seats and set these aside for if you ever decide to sell the car. BTW, even if you get rid of the seats, you're still going to have all of the whorehouse red trim stuff. I guess I would just say that if you really don't like the anniversary stuff, maybe you should continue your search for an '04 Cobra with aftermarket stuff you're looking for. With this economy, I'm sure there are a ton of them out there.

It is an original 10th. It is already modified with a non-stock blower so I don't see this being a collectible, nor do I plan on keeping it for 15-20 years which is what would be required to even consider making money off of it.

But if anyone knows of a set of black/black seats for sale let me know.

Don't worry about the blower swap, you can always get a stock eaton to swap back on for 3-400 bux, but coming across a set of those seats that someone wants to sell for less than a kidney is really tough.

Sorry, after thinking about it I am going to keep the seats. Probably will eventually store them and buy new ones.

Car seems pretty rare to be selling off the seats.

Yeah, only 365 TR anniversary coupes made and the Terminators are pretty iconic. Don't doubt in 10-15 yrs they pull a pretty penny.

Okay, made a decision based on the rarity of the seats and the fact they are in mint condition.

I'm willing to sell fronts and backs for $2,500...this allows me to get the replacement fronts that I want. If not interested then don't bash the price...It is priced for me to be able to get some Cobra Misano's.

don't sell the seats, or trade them---

buy a set of corbeau seats, and a rear seat delete kit. keep the seats and store them.
