That Mope just HATED that Talon. I mean, it went AFTER it, HARD.
Bet its radio starts playing at night by itself, and all the sheetmetal and damage fix themselves, and next day it was sitting there waiting all bright, shiny and new...for the next race day...

The guys come to race her from miles around

That was a bad accident and wow what a shock and mainly glad nobody hurt. Sorry to see it, and good luck on the next car...got THAT out of the way, that should never happen again in your life!

If you can be sued for what happens when RACING on a RACETRACK, then I will find a new hobby and so will anybody else with half a brain. It sucks that it happened, but "that's racin'."

My brother is building a Porsche 911 that is going to be used for track use and street. He was saying he has an insurance company that will cover him for when he goes to the track. I will call him and find out how it is then post it.
    500 miles is a trip,1320 feet is a race

Reality of track events: you sign the waiver= you wreck, the tracks not responsible, you are. As long as the track and event officials follow event protocol, your on your own. We've seen enough of that firsthand.

We've had wrecks at our RA events and ALL so far that DID submit claims have been covered for the repair or covered for the car's value. State farm included.
HOW?- events that are 'not timed' or 'non-competition' like ours and other "HPDE" (High Performance Drivers Education) currently fall into a narrow loophole that allow for coverage in case of incident.

However, there's no guarantee what will happen as far as subsequent claims & rates go with a respective carrier for those that do claim an incident while tracking.

Keywords insurance companies will look for of an event description where a car has been wrecked are "timed" or "competitive". ....Drag race is self descriptive, as is road racing.

Car vs. car we've only seen once; and ultimately its up to the drivers involved to figure it out.

This company offers track insurance, but its specific as to whats covered and when its active...
