My question is why does it matter if they would have taken him back, in my opinion Rodgers would have still be starting anyways. Why? simple, you really think favre could take the hits that Rodgers has been taking...even half of them? Favre is delicate whether he or anyone else likes it and Minnesota proved that by protecting him by all means...could the packers do the same for him? Doubt it. Both him and the packers are better off...the way the situation was handled was poor to say the least though.

Pro Football Talk reports that Brett Favre is on the Vikings Week 5 injury report with a foot, ankle and knee injury and will be limited in practice Wednesday. He will likely not miss the game against the helpless St. Louis rams though, and fantasy owners should not be worried.

People can say the same thing about Tomlinson and look at him now? LT is one of my favorite backs of all time but it would be completely stupid to sit here and bring up what a beast he was and the punishment he took/workload and say that its not catching up to him and is injury prone.
