Yeah, I read that in the newspaper today. Found it mildly amusing.
Buy made in the United States. Otherwise your job might be next. Unless you already wear black shoes and a visor with golden arches on it to work in which case your fellow american has already failed you.
im not sure what to think of this.. ive been to badger a few times and 1 of the to times i wasnt comfortable with the 2 people shooting at the range.. they seemed a little to "HOOD" but the people working there are very knowledgeable and nice.
The newspaper article had a great shotof badgers sign out front, something to the effect "sorry customers, MPD is pulling over african american shoppers at random".

Gotta love how they publicize it, so any potential for this turns it into "this is what i want, you gotta go alone"

I stopped going there. One time a guy was asking for a mag for his Davis .380 and the counter guy said he had to have the model, so the guy pulled it out of his pocket in the cardboard box it came it. I left then.
Every other time I had been there it was like pulling teeth to get service there, there were too interested in shooting the shit with there friends.
Funny how many crime guns they have vs. Shooters and Buckhorn.
No skin off my nose if they shut them down, sure seems like something is amiss there. I am really surprised that the ATF hasn't been all up in their shit.

Fletcher Arms is the best indoor range in the area, in my experience. Probably has something to do with the fact that anyone behind the counter can see the entire inside of the store as well as the whole range from the cash register. People are generally very safe there and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an open lane, which is usually long enough for me to load a few mags

edit: thanks for the link!
I've bought and shot guns at Badger, I dont window shop or mingle with loosers so I never noticed much when there. The high range fee's and having to use there overpriced frangable bullets keeps me away now, last time I was there I overheard the attendent telling a guy "the frangable ammo will group just like your own ammo". Ya I'm sure your black/white box ammo will group like my Hornady 40gr boat tail supremes....NOT! Like im gonna push that crap down my target barrel and foul out a $1500 action at the same time.

Groups like your own ammo.... sure. Groups can vary within different batches of the same ammo. That is why they invented "lot numbers". Let alone different types.
As far as selling to fellons? If we let cops shoot these hood rats in the first place we wouldnt have to worry about it, less court expences and money wasted on jails.

I bought my .22 from Badger. When I go gun shopping, that's where I go first. They are the only range I have used (although I am open to trying others).
I don't get bothered by the cops' presence, I am legit and I buy my guns legitimately.
I still think we just need a big electric fence around the north side.
