    Me too.
Transmission issue not found and rectified until this morning-kept making aluminum piles in the pan. The trans was out last Tuesday, back together twice, put on the dyno, and made metal. Didn't know where it was coming from-ended up they clearanced the stator in the converter(new one!) then it stopped sh#$%ing metal in the pan. Absolutely not Charlies fault-but I can't say the same for the $2500 converter manufacturer. So all the time preparing, the entry fee, arrangements made (Hotels, etc.) went in the crapper. Car is running great, new ductwork really keeps it cool, and putting around town or on the highway is easy-its just LOUD!! Looking forward to Friday, seeing all the badass cars.
Just promise not to laugh at my HVAC skills, I added a scoop to redirect air more into the supercharger. Looks like a cold air return, but was worth some boost.

Well that sucks, seems like there is some sort of transmission/ converter flu going around.

    Is it a Chance converter?

Yeah I talked with Cory over the weekend about the trans. Hope you get it handled.

I always thought this was a really cool air intake set-up for a gear drive blower.

That IS very cool, but my junk looks like a cold air return from a "crib" on Center & Booth
(enter Elvis singing "in the ghetto" here)
