    Ninja bobber

Two Kawasaki Concours touring bikes, 1000cc, liquid cooled and shaft drive. Planned on making one out of the two but after a recent ride on one decided they are not Goldwings on the freeway.

I stripped the clean low milage bike, adjusted valves (checked actualy, never turned a screw) and polished and painted the chassis. Lopped the complete rear frame assembly, bike is getting light now!

Carbs (soaking right now) and harness on tuesday before it gets one of my moped seats or an old Schwinn springer seat. Need a tiny peanut tank from a small jap bike and we're off to GLD to see what we did to the Concours's stock 12.0 times

Lowerd the rear down as much as factory settings allows, maybe more after forks slid up into the trees a little.

This has been my destop background on and off:

The Kawi has a similar single rear shock down below for the trailing arm, probably make some kind of rod base like this for a seat support above battery box.

I've got some small diameter tube for making a seat frame and an XS650 tank you could make fit.

The xs650 tank may be the ticket Tom, also found a couple crazy mini bike and old school Honda tanks on ebay.

Im open for seat ideas Irish, planned on a moped seat or a hand formed one like Pic above using tube like Eyeball mentioned.

The Chevelle is my Boss's Keith, assembling it before snow or I move this year.

Damn. I just sold the most cherry/clean cl360 tank I ever laid eyes on. It was orange. Most are typically pretty rusty inside. Not that they aren't workable though.

Those bikes look so much better with all the shit stripped off of them. I'm not a fan of all the wind shield and fairings and stuff.

Pegs may move later down the road, with the little time I have spenty on it I'll be happy if it makes your house warming with a headlight and tail light....short drive, it will be there with or without lights

Been riding it on short trips, expired tags and 1 quart fuel cell. Lights are on, need to put some yellow bulbs up front.

Chopped and bobbed the rear stock fender and lights.

I havent riden enough 1000cc jap bikes to be sure but it "feels" pretty dam quick. Publcations say 100hp and it cant get much lighter.

you need t ditch all those lights russ, all you need on that bike is a brake light.
