Tranny leak coming from middle of car

So, I have an 86 with a fuel injected swap, and it is dripping a little bit of fluid from where the shifter does into the transmission, not up by the shifter but it is dripping off of the bracket that has the exhaust prongs on it and holds the tranny up. It almost looks like the drip is coming from where the bracket bolts up to the transmission, what could this possibly be, and speak in noob terms because I am new to these things.

It might be leaking from the speedo cable/cruise control sensor. It should have an o-ring on it.

If that's not it, I have seen people install the filler plug with-out a thread sealer. I've also seen people not tighten the fill plug. Both can cause a leak that appears to be from a location further back on the trans than it actually is.

Other causes could be the rear seal is shot, or a case is cracked.

Best thing to do is thoroughly clean the trans, and then see if you can locate the source of the leak.
