Finally getting to my tire project.

a while back i got a set of tires off of a Viper and thought they woulf be cool to put on the back of my T/A. The tires are 335/35ZR17 (as aposed to my 315/30ZR17's) So i took one to work yesterday and mounted it up. They look super wide I checked the fit seems there may be some light work needed. I'll hopefully have this done friday so i can clean up the car and get some pictures. I think i'll be going to skeeters as well.

Wouldn't the tire be to tall? I mean the taller sidewall ratio plus the wider tire?

acually they came out about the same height thats what i was worried about as well as it rubbing the inner fenderwell

Well it does need some more BFH work but for now to get me to skeeters and back it'll do they only rub slightly during very hard cornering. now for pictures i snapped don't know if you'll be able to tell the difference. between the 315's and te 335's

    315's

    335's

the tires were free i couldn't let them go to waste i wouldn't pay for these tires as i think cost on them is got to be around $300 each. once these are used up i'll be switching back to the 315's. I do like the fat tire look but there only on 17x10.5 rims so i think they would look better on 11" wide rims.

I like them both, I'd say a minitub and 335s is where it's at.
Buy made in the United States. Otherwise your job might be next. Unless you already wear black shoes and a visor with golden arches on it to work in which case your fellow american has already failed you.
