    8-2-09 West Bend Dyno (Club-Cow)

Here are a few pics I snapped with my cell on the way out. Not great, but I thought I'd share for those who didn't make it.

My ride is the little red Mazda, her first time on a dyno (bone stock). The red vette is another BCM member team_beater.

If anyone has any better pics to share, I'd love to see them.

wow, have to be pretty happy with those #'s... Only about a 5.5% Drive train loss.

If I'm looking at the stock figures right, listed at 263hp?

5.5% loss, nah. Just a good pull on a cool motor.

The 2nd pull with a hot top mount was about 15hp lower I think (I forget exactly). The car really needs to keep in motion to avoid heat soak. (Or get some fans on the intercooler.) In stop and go traffic the intake temps can get pretty high. That also makes me nervous about staging lanes at the drag strip and getting a good run, but hopefully I'll get down there and get some times to match the numbers.
