    99 Chevy Silverado P/S Pump

My dad lost power steering in his Z71 this weekend, and I think it needs a p/s pump. Has anyone done this on one of these on a truck like this? How bad is it and can anyone warn me of any potential pitfalls. I think NAPA has p/s pumps for 75-85 bucks I think. Let me know if you have any advice. Thank you in advance.

If its like the older body style trucks the lines rub on each other and wear holes in them, pisses the fluid out. Check the lines really good, if he stopped driving it right away the pump is probably still good
