    How much does that boat/trailer combo weigh?

    That combo only weighs about 2000#. Certainly not enough to need a diesel but it doesn't hurt.

    yeah...the reason I ask is that my sister-in-law wants an idea of what she might be able to tow with a mini-suv type (the kind of boat/pop-trailers/etc), and your boat is pretty much what I described would be a good combo for the vehicles w/ 2800-3500 weight limits. Basic, small, light...but capable of what they desire.

    I did the museum pickup down in Bowling Green, KY (in the background). The trailer was aluminum and the car weights just a little over 3100lbs. It's not much of a tow.... I could barley tell it was back there.
