    Question '71 Chevelle hood . . . .

Hey, a friend of mine has come across a 1971 Chevelle hood and might be selling it. It is an original steel hood that is painted yellow and without rust. Does anyone know what this might be worth? Sorry no pics yet, but I can get them if needed.

Well, that's discouraging! But, I promised that I would ask!

If you don't mind me asking, what is your friend asking for his hoods?

    Exclamation

OK new info on this hood tonight, I would think that this should change things a bit . . .

Apparently this hood is a MINT condition (well one very very very small ding no paint damage and not more than 1/16th deep) All original 1971 Chevelle SS 350 (I think) Cowl hood with working vacuum door. How much would this change things? I would like to go and see it myself and try to pull some numbers off of it to verify all this info. What should we look for with the numbers and where?
