Thanks Adam! I can't wait to see how the car turns out either. Speaking of cars coming a long way too, I can't wait to start dialing your car in!

    Updates:

Tom started working on the rear quarters, which required a little bit of dent removal with a stud gun and a slide hammer. Both sides were pushed in pretty bad, but it's looking good now. (Detail in the pics is kind of hard to see because the light wasn't cooperating, and it is kind of a hard shot to capture without seeing it in person. The yellow color is not rust on the bare metal also, its an acid that Tom brushed on to neutralize any rust.)

Next, the fender lips were cut on both sides of my car so far that the wheel well and the rear quarter were separated by about an 1/8" gap. So Tom welded in a piece of round stock to fill the gap, add strength, and give it a more finished look.

Lastly, the bottom of the rear passenger side quarter was patched up.

    Updates!

A lot of progress has been made on the rear quarters. Unlike before the body work, there are some lines that are starting to appear!

We also really wanted to see what the paint looked like layed out on part of the car, so we decided to prep and paint the bottom of the trunk to get an idea. I really like the color a lot, its called Nightmare Black Pearl. The pictures don't do it justice, but the basis of the color is a dark charcoal grey. The paint really catches the sunlight in a lot of different ways, in low light it looks black with a blueish haze and in moderate to bright it looks like a charcoal grey.

After the paint is done, I think all the "Chad" has been officially removed from the car.
