I've been watching SportCenter all morning, 50 games is almost half the season.

He was randomly tested, they said MLB never has suspicion that he was using performance enhancing drugs.

They just said that Manny said "It was a drug prescribed by his doctor for a medical condition"

And it just so happened to trigger the test.... Hmmmm?

ESPN just said he did not fail the test over steroids, it was a prescription drug by his doctor but not a performance enhancing drug. I wish they would just say what it was....

Something commonly used to increase fertility in women and sex drive in men. None the less it falls into the testosterone family and contains something that's on the banned list.

If Manny said he passed 15 tests in recent years and now failed one, I have to believe it was an honest mistake like he is saying. Especially knowing all of the scrutiny going on now-a-days.

Athletes use this when they are coming off of a steroid cycle.

Exactly.

Basically - when you're on roids... your body figures it doesn't need you're testicles anymore because you've got so much test in your body already.

To recover, and get the body to increase test production on it's own, lots of body builders (I only know this because I have a lot of friends that juice) do a PCT. They take estrogen so that the male body goes into over-drive and starts test production again.

They can also identify a juicer by "Liver saver" meds.
