    Anyone know what kind of tranny this is?

    I have a 1980 fairmont with manual everything including bench seat and 3spd manual with the over drive. but what kind of toploader is it? even earlier mustang trans or one on its own

    SROD 4spd would be my guess and IMO they're junk

    ok thanks i was just curious to what it was and if it was worth savin i was hopin it was gonna be some kind of bullitt proof trans..........LOL
