    Blinker Issues - '03 Mustang

I'm trying to decide if I need a new flasher (unit that controls blinkers) or just a new bulb. My blinkers work about half the time. They will always flash on, but half the time they won't blink. I checked all the fuses and they are fine but I can't find the "flasher" unit that is in the Haynes manual (says it's be the fuse box).

I don't think I need a new bulb because the turn signal tuns on when I tell it to, but it just won't blink. Happens half the time on the right, half on the left.

    Any ideas?

Flashers are pretty cheap, it might help to pick one up at an auto parts store to see what it looks like.

I don't even know why Mustangs come with rear blinkers, we all know nothing is slow enough to get BEHIND a mustang

I know a couple guys that can help you with that experience, if you'd like.

Sounds like the flasher to me. Cheap and easy fix.

yea easiest place to start could be that or a bad ground but highly doubt it usually a flasher, its behind the dash on rear of central junction box according to mitchel on demand
