The First RSD of 2009 is April 24th *NEW FORMAT*

    ATTN: NEW FORMAT!!

Due to the economy (and other factors) "Big Baller" races will not be the MAIN Focus this year.... we're going OLD SCHOOL grudge racing where you can run your buddy, race for cheese burgers, low dollars ect....

Now, this doesnt mean the "ballers" wont be there or arent welcome... what it means is... we wont revolve the event around "big dollar" races and make the "little guys" wait in the staging lanes forever.

My goal this year is to HAVE fun while racing your friends in a "street race" atmosphere.

We will still allow spotting out car lengths and racing off of a flag and stuff.

So, spread the word!!! RSD is heading back to the ROOTS of Grudge racing, where WINNING just to win...was more important than trying to act like a big shot racing for big money!

Let this be the "year of the Grudge race" where the "little guys" rule and the "ballers" drool!
I like to race at the real street drags at GLD because it's legal and safe for everybody.

Awesome, new format sounds good to me!

Not sure if the car will be ready for the first one but I'm gonna have to solve all my cheeseburger call outs.

wow. sounds like the plethora of threads complaining about how RSD was run and how it needed to get away from the big money center, actually made a difference. way to go.

yeah thats why they are not getting rid of the big money race's run some of the slower (most likely less money bet races) then run a big one and go back and forth let everybody have fun and see lots of cars...

ive never been to a rsd but i think i might have to check it out this year..

Sounds like a good new plan to me....$100 on a race is much more fun for some of us than a Grand plus.... broke ass college kids

I try to keep the event current with "The times" ...and these days, Big Baller racing is not happening like it used to. Plus, too many folks are hurtin' in the ol' pocket book.

Please spread the word guys. I'd really like to show the "Ballers", who are arguing about this with me on Chitown, that they are GREATLY out numbered.

    Thanks.

Seriously Danno, I think the last RSD at WIR left a mark on Puffy. He's taken a beating from the chitown crowd. The "Cowtippers" have suddenly become important to him.
