Tony's 2 valve is making 465 or more at the wheels on his stock block and has been doing so for a few years. but its on borrowed time over 450,i would pass on this one unless your ready to put a motor in it if need be

Exactly! If it's $200 he can throw that into the deal and get it done.

Also, I'm anxious to see what motor mods are done to this thing. I'm sure without the juice he is well under 400hp.

New Edge's prices have dropped so dramatically lately, I wouldn't mess with one with nitrous through it. Keep shopping around, you could probably pick up an 99-01 with 75K miles on it for around 6K.

His HP mod is the spray. Without he's probably under 300HP.

A noise of any kind would shy me away, unless the price is that awesome. You should have looked at it this weekend right? What was your thought?

No offense man and I'm sure you've got a nice car but I'd send this via pm as they have rules set for selling stuff.
All posts from the above author are expected to be 100% BS. Thank you and have a nice day.

What part of the valve train do you think is adjustable? theres no manual adjustment you can make. theres a hydraulic lash adjuster that you cant manually adjust, a roller follower that has no adjustment, the cam that has no adjustment and the valve spring that has no adjustment. its a OHC motor, theres nothing to adjust that doesnt do it automatically by itself. if there is a noise coming from the valve train then id have to say the motors pretty much cashed. its so precise that if the timing is off 1 tooth the valves will hit the piston. If it were a dif style of ohc motor like the 4 clys are then yeah the lifters are shimable but not the 4.6s

Not really, still looking but it would have to be a really good car for me to pounce. In this economy it is looking better and better to just have the money in the bank.

wayne that would kick all kinds of ass. Then stuff a 351 between the shock towers. And go hunting.
