    UPDATE!!!!
    went to the finals today-
we lost-but not without a fight!
    Jimmy went .098 light and a 10.23 to the guys .074 and a 10.24
not too bad for a 100 tune-up and having to pedal the car next to his competitor!
Guess street racing runs in his DNA 'cause that close of a reaction time don't matter on the street-it's who gets to the stripe first!
I'm damn proud of my son and the help of Cory Peters, Ron Wesley and Chip Brunswick-I'm truely honored to have that much experience on my team!!!!!!!
Thanks alot to Jim (Dr. Buick!) for coming over with his buddy and helping last weekend!!
How many guys ran all year and didn't even come close?
    Thanks guys

Jim, as always its been my pleasure helping out were I could this season. You and your son are truly great people. I'm honored to be able to help out.

On a side note if I wasn't so salty over the whole situation I would have came back to help you out today. But, I'm a little peeved about the fact that the classes that were in a points chase had to come back today. Not the way things should have been.

Dad made the shake down pass in it then Jimmy ran it the rest of the time. The kid has some of the best driving skills I've seen in a while from someone without a bunch of time behind the wheel. I would not hesitate to put him in any of my cars and tell him to flip the arm switch on and go for a ride.

Very cool Jim, that is the stuff great father/son memories are made of.

Congrats again, but I had NO IDEA it was that close. Very impressive on your part Jimmy, and to everyone who got that car to be extremely competetive on it FIRST time out in one of the toughest TS classes!

    Time for everyone to
