    Speed denisty?

What exactly is the point of a speed density tune? Or even better a speed density tune on a LS2 GTO w/ catback? Reason I ask is there's a youtube video and the guys showing off his tune and catback. Not sure why you'd get a tune with an almost stock car.

Speed density ditches the MAF, and runs soley off the VE and temp. Which really IMHO there is no reason to switch unless you are moving enough air through the engine that you are maxing the MAF Hz scale out which wont happen unless you have FI and you would be hard pressed at that with the 13,500hz ceiling on the 85mm maf in a LS2 car.

NA guys will do it for more flexibility in intake systems typically and believe there is a slight performance advantage over the MAF system.

I love it for FI cars, but i will tune cammed cars in forced SD to start with and then turn the maf back on and fine tweak it from there and it really doesnt seem as repsponsive with it in SD.

Thats about as simple as i can respond to your question.
