I think it's a great move by the Bears. It's an interesting theory trying to get better players in key positions. Here I thought the only way to get better was to continually draft projects and hope they just someday step up.

They also signed Orlando Pace to help on the OL. He's a bit past his prime, but can't hurt.

I think he'll be a good fit for the Bears.

While I agree with you to a point, it's just not realistic to think this is going to happen more, having a pro-bowler that hasn't even come into his prime yet come to the trade market just does not happen very often. Hell the last trade that was this big was the portis-bailey trade

.....The bear's receiving core is worse than the bronco's. The bear's are an ancient team. I can see him helping in the future, but not this year

^^^that's what i think....you can take the best QB ever and he won;t be shit unless he has at least decent receivers around him
Chicago is what you would get if Milwaukee had sex with it's sister. Said by a co-worker of mine arguing w/ somebody on how Milwaukee is better then Chicago.

QB's can also make WR's. Tom Brady didn't have jack crap for WR's until 2 years ago yet still threw for yardage and won alot of games. McNabb has won without a WR either. Packers have 4 very good WR's and they won 6 games.

Bears biggest problem was they couldn't consistently put more then 13 points on the board a game cause their QB was awful. If they can can get Cutler to put up 20 points a game that will be huge for them.

I think it's a great move. In many ways I think it's a little ironic that the Bears got themselves what many people consider to be a young Favre.

I think they compensated Denver waaaaaaayyyy too much for a guy who wasn't going to report anyways and would have been getting fined and making nothing. Good for Denver though for getting all of that.
