    National Cathedral

I spent last Saturday morning at the National Cathedral in NW D.C. and it may sound like a pun but what a religious experience of architecture. First things first, it is huge. Think of the biggest church you have ever been in times ten. Then all the attention to detail throughout the building in the stained glass, the chapels, everything. But most impressive to me is the stone work both inside AND outside the building. I have seen alot of it in my day but that work is exceptional.

Anyway, first shots are mainly of the facility itself and the last are my favorite pieces of stone work from outside the building.

    Enjoy

Very nice! What lens did you use for the first shot facing the cathedral?

    Awesome stuff!

It's neat to see another person's perspective of a few of the same shots that I took

    Well done!!!

Awesome pictures. I went there back in middle school and it is a very neat place to visit. Everything is so huge and open.

Those are some cool pics. I was actually a St. Peters Cathedral in Vatican city and all the pics I took looked like crap. Wish I was a better photographer..

    Disappointing women since 1970.
    Love you Mom
