    Another 4.6 DOHC owner

And yes it came with leaking headgaskets!

These things move quite nice! Love the buttons,HID's and
memory everything. The lincolns got an aluminum block
but lighter rods/crank from the SVT Stangs I hear.

Traction control switch works great....when "off"

The coolant system in these DOHC's is retarded but nothing
an electric water pump and conventional t-stat wont solve.

For me more so the earlier ones but latter years are slick also, was trying to get the wifey to want one for a summer DD but she can't stand them for some reason. There was one on eBay a while back that had a SC'd Cobra 4.6 in it with all kinds of other upgrades and modifications, color wasn't ideal but it was still......

People love or hate them, was a fan first time I drove this car and
inspected it for needed repairs. I felt he was better off taking my
94 Nissan pickup as a daily driver and leaving me this

Now with a couple miles on it I'd like to sell off a project and get
a Cobra take-out 4.6 off e-bay and stuff internals in the Lincoln
specific aluminum block (suppose to be the $#!&&).....dreaming
I suppose but neat DD to bomb around in.

If I had that kind of cash and built a Lincoln it the first
line would read "Runs x.xx @ xxxmph"!

Nice car, Ive seen it on Lincoln message boards recently.
Those SVT powertrains turn up on e-bay pretty often.

"If" he went he would have figured a #3750 car having
what he "says" is pushing 500hp flywheels (460net) it
"should" run high 11's.......its always a let down when
you do the math and the 19" tires/wheels wont hook up
and the rear end lay's a one wheel peel

I have no doubt if we met it at a light we would be happy
to watch the tank roll off but Im always leary of people who
say thay have 18 killion daneeros invested but no ET. It
speaks to the chassis and the quality thruout.
