What's with the Fram fuel filter? :P

Can't wait to see when it's done. Where is Hytech Coatings? I may need a couple things powdercoated soon.

a little update! my parents always told me, never burn any bridges. well long story short I have ended up getting some HUGE help from a local machine shop who specializes in cast heads. Brzezinski Racing products www.castheads.com out of sussex. my good friends brother inlaw is the machinst there and they have taken over my head for my truck as a "R&D PROJECT" the cummins head has a casted intake plenuem on the head that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to port the intake side. also the 24v head has 7 yes 7 intake ports, the 1st cylinder has two! and being forced induction i want volume so they have taken it, milled it off, then machined flat the intake side of the head. we machined a billet intake flange thats drilled and tapped to the side of the head which will be a log and tube style intake in the end. they also have a 5 axis that has enough travel for my 3ft long head which is another plus. also part of the project they built a billet flow bench test stand just for cummins heads. Brzezinski is known for there test equipment, Hell even Banks has a Brzezinski test stand I was able to get some flow numbers from other engine builders so we can see where were at. here is a few pics so far.. shitty cell phone stuff

the intake idea im using, as you can see the 7 intake ports

BIG ASS FLUID DAMPNER! this thing is fn heavy!

little update with pics.. man machine work is taking forever! but finally getting somewhere, we have takin the whole cummins head machine work to another level. most companys offer a 3 angle grind. Bezinski made new mounting shoes and got it up on a 5 angle i have a 12v head being done and a 24v head. also on the flow bench stock for stock a 24v head out flowed a 12v almost 20%!!!!!!!!! the only downfall is all the moving parts in 24v get expensive when u turn serious rpms! 5k plus. so that is one of the benifits between the two and y most pullers choose a 12v head.
on the cnc cutting intakes off

FINALLY AN UPDATE! after almost a yr of R&D we finally got decent shit lined up with the head. we machined a "combustion chamber" in the head to relieve compression to about 14:75.1 with stock pistons. also the head stock flowed intake 156cfm exhaust 169 cfm. after all this work it flows 212 Intake and 200 exhaust thats roughly 40% increase over stock on stock valves!
