Yeah i'll probably head down there a few times, i don't want to kill my clutch though. I've done the drag race thing for years with my camaro, the road course is where i would like to spend my time and money. What care are you running again? Times and trap?

It is totally bolt-on, and has been proven to be capable of extracting an extra 100HP when compared to the normal GT42R-style cover.

So, we'll see what the turbo can do on the DSM!

Here are a few pictures of the turbo with the new compressor cover sitting next to the "old" GT42R cover from the previous post! Small size difference!

COPYCAT! haha, last time i talked to you you were going with teh 4202, now i see you decided to go with the BW like me! race cover is FTW

Cool, Hopefully this year i can drive. I'm used to bangin shifts on a T-56 so the evo is quite a change. I ran a 13.1@107 last fall. That was on a crap tune so hopefully i can get down there after the E85 dyno tune.

I'll give you the 330'. How about that. It would be a bit more fair.

Haha, do you drag it at GLD? Yes, mine is pretty slow compared to Tim's 9 sec beast, haha. I'm hoping to break into the 11's if my stock clutch holds up and i can shift. We'll see.

Yea I can definately see that. Tim's car probably costs quite a bit to run if you consider everything that he has in it, plus the chance of breaking parts.

I think you guys should do the race for at least $50 or something. It actually sounds like a pretty fair race BTW (ricky gets the 330', which isn't prepped for shit compared to the line), judging by what both guys want to run this year.

    Thats what Im sayin man.

Guys spend THOUSANDS of dollars to build cars, then upgrade most every winter........Then, "Lets race for a cheeseburger?"

If i was Tim, I wouldnt run for anything less than $300. Too much risk for him to break something for a burger.

Yeah i figured that, its all good. I have to pick up some injectors and get it tuned on E85. It should run pretty good for a stock turbo Evo. Hoping for 360-370 whp.
