    Just another AR........

Here is my AR that i have finally gotten after 13 months of waiting. It is a 6.5 HPI SPC 1 of 6 currently chambered in this round. The cartridge uses a 6.8 parent case and is necked down to a 6.5, it uses 85-107 grain serrira match for optimum performance.(85 gr. 3225 FPS) It has a 24" stainless Krieger barrel 1:8 twist that has been teflon coated (Thats what most of the waiting was for) and an adjustable gas block.
It has a side charging handle upper, enlarged ejection port, and a 15 minute down slant STANAG Mil spec 1913 top rail. It has a geiselle 2 stage trigger set to 4.5# combined. It is fully weighted in the butstock, with the scope, harris bipod and an empty mag it weighs in at 16.8 pounds. The scope is a Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20x50mm. I have not shot it yet, i have to load for it first since there is no off the shelf ammo for it. Once it is broken it will have no problem doing 1/4 minute groups all day!

Nice rifle, having to reload would be too much of a PITA for me, but looks like a nice weapon

Kick-Ass AR, but I do have one question: Instead of the 6.5 wildcat, why not go with the already established and EXTREMELY accurate 6.5 Grendel?

It will out perform the grendal by a slight margin. But my main reason for it was to be different from everyone else. Thanks for the replies!!

Changed for accuracy. From what little information is available, it sounds like any advantage the HPI might enjoy due to powder capacity and initial velocity will be negated by increased barrel wear and difficulty in getting the results you are seeking in a gas powered, magazine fed weapon. But, it is different and your gun itself is very cool, no matter what the cartridge.

That is beutiful! Like everything about the build.

I like your idea of spec's, Im a huge fan of the 6.5 Creedmore
for an over the counter mid weight speed demon. The 6.5 class
bullets are going to dominate all high power competitions if they
havent already, crazy accurate all the way out to 500+ yards.
