    Opening Day 2009 is WEDNESDAY, April 1st: 5:00PM-9PM
    Opening WEEKEND is Saturday, April 4th, featuring
    TWELVE HOURS OF RACING!
    That's right: 9:00AM-9:00PM!!
    As always, The Legendary Great Lakes Dragaway offers FREE RACING to start the season off right! And for 2009, we offer FREE RACING from April 1st to April 10th!!!
    We would also like to announce that our "Cheap Wednesdays" promotion from last fall was so well received that we have decided to offer $20.00 racing on Wednesdays for the ENTIRE 2009 RACING SEASON!!!

    The GLD crew can't wait to see you all again. Hang in there racers, the long, cold winter will be over soon and the smell of rubber and race fuel will soon fill the air!!

    On the days marked "Ladies Night" females (even those that aren't ladies) race for free.

    i got a group coming from another site, about a dozen or so, you still have to pay spectator fee to run, correct?? So its 12 bucks to run?

    That's correct. Everyone who enters pays spectator fees. Racing is free though...
