cost $35 for 2 years, you will need the title or registration card from the owner. (they do have one). if u go to the dnr station in waukesha by the court house they will issue stickers on hand. other wise you will be waiting awhile if u do it at a substation. Ie most dealerships. my renews this year are 3 weeks and counting.. so i have been riding with the renewal carbon copy piece of paper to prove its upto date.

I did mine online. You just use your SSN or DN number, If youve ever had a hunting or fishing liscense you will be in there already. When your done you can print out a temp proof of registration to use until the stickers show up. I think my stickers came in the mail in just under 2 weeks. Stuff takes longer from dealerships probably because they wait till they have a stack of them and then they send them in.

My kids mini doesn't need one, it's 120cc.

I would guess that the 250 needs one!

The dude that is selling it does not have a Title only a Bill of sale he told me I can still register it but I was thinking " WTF ? "

Can this still be registered if there is no title and only a Bill of sale ?

I have a feeling I'm going to pass on this if that's the case.

As long as you have the vin or serial number from the sled it will look it up to see if its ever been registered.

I just went to the Milwaukee office with:

    1.) Year
    2.) Make
    3.) Model
    4.) CC
    5.) Serial #

and I was able to register all my sleds. I didn't have paper work for them. The could see they were previously registered to the same address as mine. 2 of the 4 sleds where my mothers who past away so I needed to transfer titles to me. It was pretty painless, minus writing out the check for 4 registrations.
